This Melton Mowbray bathroom transformation was far more than a simple bathroom replacement. The project involved stripping the room back to its shell and completely reworking the space to create a modern, practical wet room with a luxurious finish.

The existing bathroom featured a raised platform around the bath, a suspended ceiling and dated fixtures that no longer made the best use of the available space. Our team removed the old bathroom, took down the suspended ceiling, removed the raised bath platform and carried out significant preparation work to create a clean foundation for the new design.

As part of the renovation, we installed new plasterboard walls and applied a fresh plaster finish throughout. Existing pipework was altered, including work around the original cast iron stack pipe, ensuring the new layout worked seamlessly with the property’s existing services.

The new design incorporated a stylish wet room shower area, contemporary floor and wall tiling and a stunning freestanding bath, creating a space that feels both luxurious and highly functional. By opening up the room and removing unnecessary features, the finished bathroom feels larger, brighter and far more in keeping with modern living.
